We love our Kids!
A baby's first tooth comes in anywhere from the age of 5 months to 10 months. A fabulous introduction to oral hygiene may begin with a soft wash cloth to wipe the gums and incoming new teeth. As they develop more teeth, graduate them to a finger toothbrush or a soft baby toothbrush. It is a great idea to bring your precious little one for their first visit to the dentist between 12 to 18 months of age.
By the time your toddler reaches 2-1/2 years of age, most of their primary teeth are present. By the time they reach 5-1/2 years of age, their primary teeth will start to exfoliate and their first permanent teeth will erupt. As children, develop their motor skills and their tolerance to things, it is a pretty idea to help them brush their teeth on top of their own efforts or just until they are adequately brushing well themselves. Just remember that once teeth form, cavities can form at anytime. Hence teeth and gingival health should be carefully monitored.
